Getnet Launches Get Code Developer Community to Drive Innovation in Payments
Getnet, part of Santander, has launched Get Code, a global developer community designed to connect and empower technology professionals. The platform offers networking, hackathons, and co-creation opportunities, with a focus on AI-driven innovations in digital payments, starting in Brazil.

With Get Code, developers gain access to a vibrant network where they can collaborate, share knowledge, and create innovative solutions that drive the future of digital payments. The platform o=ers a wide range of opportunities, from networking and content sharing at proprietary events to participating in a Hackathon and discovering new business opportunities

Through this community, Getnet seeks to empower developers by providing tools and resources. This includes co-creation opportunities, collaboration across di=erent industries and geographic regions, innovation-driven initiatives such as challenges, hackathons, and knowledge sharing, as well as fostering business opportunities by connecting ideas to real market needs.
Program activities will kick o= in Brazil, on February 26 with a meet-up that will mark the community’s first gathering, under the theme “The Future of Payments Using AI.”
The inaugural event will feature Verifone, an electronic payment solutions and point-ofsale (POS) services provider, and Red Hat, the open-source software solutions company. The meeting will bring Caetano Altieri, CEO of Verifone, who will share strategic insights on how artificial intelligence is transforming payment methods. Throughout the year, additional program initiatives are planned and will be announced gradually.
